Sizing, cleaning, delivery and returns — for cats and dogs alike.
A felt cat cave is a dome-shaped hideaway hand-felted from dense merino wool. Cats curl up inside it to sleep — the enclosed shape holds warmth, muffles household noise, and gives them a safe, private spot of their own.
Small, Medium and Large. Small suits most cats up to about 4kg, Medium covers the average 4–6kg cat, and Large is for big breeds and cats who like to stretch right out.
Your cat should be able to turn around inside and stretch out, but not rattle around. When in doubt, size up — a slightly roomy cave gets used far more than one that is a squeeze.
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. For a deeper clean, hand-wash in lukewarm water, press (do not wring) to remove water, reshape while damp and air-dry away from direct heat. Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Yes — dogs den just like cats do. Our dog dens are the same dense merino felt, scaled up with a lower entrance and a reinforced base. Small suits terriers and dachshunds, Medium covers spaniels and border collies, and Large fits retrievers and dogs who sprawl.
Our felt toys are made from 100% merino wool with no plastic parts. They suit cats and gentle chewers; strong chewers should be supervised, and any toy that starts to come apart should be taken away.
Yes. Every cave, bed, mat and toy is needle-felted by hand from merino wool — no moulds, no machine-pressed shapes. Small variations in colour and texture between pieces are normal and are the mark of something made by a person, not a production line.
